Amura
Amura Residences is a development of 38 apartments located in Mataró, in the Maresme region, just 200 meters from the sea and approximately a 15-minute walk from the main beach. The project is designed by Vilalta Studio, under the direction of architect Xavier Vilalta, known for his focus on sustainable, award-winning architecture. The building offers exceptional sea views, combining modern aesthetics with functional design. Its façade features elegant curves and materials such as wood and metal, along with movable wooden panels that allow residents to regulate light and shade—providing both comfort and energy efficiency. The interiors are designed to promote well-being and harmony: wooden ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows that fill the spaces with natural light, and open-plan layouts connecting the living room, dining area, and kitchen to maximize spaciousness. The bedrooms are conceived as tranquil retreats, with clean lines, natural materials, and optimal orientation. The community areas include a modern lobby with secure parcel lockers, a fully equipped gym on the ground floor, a rooftop infinity pool with stunning sea views, a children’s play area, a green relaxation garden, and an outdoor calisthenics zone. The surrounding environment is truly privileged: Mataró offers excellent public transport connections, close proximity to health services (such as Mataró Hospital), educational institutions (like Escola Pia Santa Anna and Tecnocampus), shopping centers like Mataró Parc, local markets, restaurants, and leisure options. All this is just 30 minutes by car from Barcelona, while still enjoying the peace and lifestyle of living by the sea. Amura Residences stands out for its use of sustainable materials and contemporary architectural design, focused on comfort, energy efficiency, and seamless integration with the coastal environment. The building's structure combines Cross-Laminated Timber (CLT) and steel, offering a robust, fire-safe, and environmentally friendly construction solution. The façade features movable wooden panels that allow natural solar control, improving the building’s energy performance while adding a distinctive aesthetic character. Floor-to-ceiling windows flood the interiors with natural light, creating open, bright, and spacious living areas. Interior finishes include natural materials, wooden ceilings, and clean lines that evoke a sense of warmth and tranquility. Kitchens come fully integrated with a functional, modern design, while bathrooms are equipped with high-quality finishes and contemporary fixtures. Flooring is selected for optimal thermal and acoustic comfort, likely combining ceramic materials and wood, depending on the room. In terms of communal areas, the development offers a stylish entrance lobby with secure parcel lockers, a fully equipped gym on the ground floor, a rooftop infinity pool with panoramic sea views, a children’s play area, landscaped relaxation gardens, and an outdoor calisthenics space. All these elements reflect a clear commitment to sustainability, reduced CO₂ emissions, and smart use of natural resources.
